Santa Rita Landscaping – $15,000 Landscape Giveaway!

Garrett Ham, co-owner of Santa Rita Landscaping, announced today that the winner of the contest is Literacy Connects, a Tucson nonprofit serving children and adults through literacy and arts programming that create solutions for many of society’s most persistent problems. From reducing unemployment and poverty, to increasing economic growth and opportunity; literacy is the key to a better future.

The contest, which started in September, asked people to vote for a deserving local non-profit to receive a $15,000 landscaping makeover.  Ham said, “The response to our contest was amazing. We received dozens of nominations in support of deserving local charities via our Facebook page. Our selection committee then picked the winner based on the number of Facebook votes they received and their overall landscaping and outdoor space needs.”

Santa Rita Landscaping will work closely with the staff at Literacy Connects to create a safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor space.  During the construction, Santa Rita Landscaping will post project update photos of the Literacy Connects landscape makeover on its Facebook page,

Brothers Brian Ham and Garrett Ham, along with Richard Spross, own the award-winning landscaping company which was established in 1985.
